HOW ACTENLY WORKS

A better way to begin than another to-do list.

Actenly is built for the moment you know what matters but cannot get yourself to begin—and for families who want clear agreements, soft focus, and honest sign-off.

Take the first step

Name the stuck point. Pick one honest first move. Add help—or soft focus and family review—only when it helps.

01

Turn avoidance into a visible next step

Instead of organising every task, Actenly asks what is hard about this one: overwhelm, perfectionism, boredom, anxiety or distraction. You get a short starting action and a focused time window—because research shows the hardest part is usually starting, not planning.

02

Use support without handing over control

A friend, partner or family member can join only after an explicit invitation. Permissions stay visible and can be changed or revoked. Invited help raises follow-through without turning into surveillance.

03

For families: soft focus and review

Soft focus keeps Actenly full screen to help attention, but the child can still leave the app. Protected family tasks need agreed evidence and a permitted reviewer’s sign-off before they count as done. Clear rule. Less nagging.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is Actenly a to-do list?

No. It is a task-starting method with a lightweight list around it. The primary job is to help you begin—and, for families, to make soft focus and evidence review explicit.

Can I use it alone?

Yes. Support circles and family review workflows are optional.

START WHERE YOU ARE

One clear next step is enough.
